Perimeter Barrier: A chemical injection into the soil around the perimeter of the building/s being treated. This method is most suitable to buildings or areas of buildings with concrete foundations. This system carries a 5-year warranty subject to annual inspection to verify its integrity.
Subfloor Barrier: A chemical treatment to the soil around foundation walls, piers or stumps of the building/s being treated. This method is most suitable to buildings or areas of buildings with subfloor construction. This system carries a 5-year warranty subject to annual inspection to verify its integrity.
Chemical Options
At SURE Pest Control we offer 3 different chemical options:
BiForce: Creates a barrier which termites detect and move away from. This is the most cost effective option but is not effective in controlling termite colony growth.
FipForce: With the active constituent Fipronil which termites cannot detect. As a growth regulator, it infects, spreads between and kills termites assisting in the control of local termite populations.
Termidor: This premium chemical offers not just the benefit of growth regulation impacting termite populations contacting the treated zone, but as Termidor “Accredited Termite Applicators”, the chemical supplier Termidor provides a $2m warranty for any termite damage caused to the property as a result of termite attack (if accessed via the treated zone).
Other Termite Management Options
Trelona Perimeter Bait Stations: The bait stations system is installed in accordance with AS3660.2 and the Trelona label instructions. This system is designed to attract termites to the bait before they reach a nearby building. Trelona uses the active ingredient novaluron which is a growth regulator to infect, spread between and kill termites. The system requires 6 monthly inspections to detect termite attack to ensure appropriate treatment action can be taken if required.
Reticulation System: A reticulation system provides for cost effective treatment in the future whereby our technicians can connect and recharge the areas services with chemical in a much shorter amount of time. The system is laid on the ground before concrete or pavers are installed which means there is no need to drill through physical barriers between the surface and soil to apply the chemical.
